The Rockin’ Mr. Rock Bass Tournament scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2008 at the Monroe Harbor Seawall has been cancelled.

The State of Illinois record for a rock bass is 26 ounces (one-pound, 10 ounces). We can break this! I know, you know, we all, a state record is swimming in chicago’s harbors. Largest fish, first place $150, second place, $100, third place, $75. Ties split the prize. Break the state record and it’s an additional $150 (plus you are eligible for the Richard J. Daley Memorial Tournament as well). Fish must be minimum 8.0 ounces to enter. Prizes awarded Saturday, October 18 at Northerly Island Fishing Program Awards (see below).
